In this CTG power generation project, MIESA is developing the low-voltage switchboards for the GCU and GTU with a comprehensive approach: we take on the complete scope, from engineering to manufacturing and testing.
Complete scope, from engineering to testing
- Basic and control engineering, including the electrical and protection architecture
- Design for short circuit, earthing and arc-proof performance, to ensure safety and operational reliability
- Form 4b withdrawable low-voltage switchboards up to 6,300 A, designed for high availability and safe maintenance
- Integration of Siemens SIPROTEC protection relays, with distributed logic and IEC 61850 (GOOSE) and Modbus communications
- Manufacture, assembly and FAT in our workshop, ensuring quality before integration on site

Safety and availability by design
Form 4b segregation separates busbars, functional units and outgoing terminals, so each outgoing feeder can be inspected or replaced without taking the rest of the switchboard out of service. Together with the arc-proof design and protection coordination, the result is an installation ready for the demands of a power station.
A project that reflects our ability to tackle complex energy infrastructure, combining electrical engineering, technology integration and in-house manufacturing, based on market-leading solutions such as Siemens.
