Installation of the instrumentation in the new electrolyser unit at Kem One’s plant in Fos-sur-Mer (France).
The work, part of the Elyse project, involved installing membrane electrolysers to replace the existing diaphragm electrolysis system. With it, the French PVC, caustic soda and chlorine derivatives company improves the plant’s energy efficiency and reduces its CO₂ emissions by 50,000 tonnes a year.
Our scope
- Installation of field instrumentation
- Gas detectors and fire protection system
- Communications system for the electrolysers
- Design and installation of cable routes and instrument air
- Loop testing and troubleshooting
