For ACCIONA, on the Jubail 3B project (Jubail, Saudi Arabia), Miesa Ingeniería designed, manufactured and integrated the filtered water analysis systems: instrumentation cabinets and shelters with online analysers, ready to operate in the region’s extreme climate.
Technical scope
- Manufacture of instrumentation cabinets and shelters
- Integration of sensors and analysers for online control
- Complete technical documentation in line with the project’s document control system
- FAT, packing and international shipping
Instrumentation installed
Chlorine analysers and transmitters with integrated displays to monitor water quality in real time. The whole system was adapted to demanding process conditions, with controlled minimum flows and CPVC inlet and drain lines.
Cabinets
Double-door cabinets with inspection windows, designed for demanding industrial environments and international transport.
- Horizontal distribution manifold that preserves sample integrity
- Ball valves and control units with digital displays
- DN25 product inlet and DN40 drain with ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanges
Shelters
Large industrial shelters with ventilation and air conditioning, built for the Jubail climate.
- Multiple water quality analysers in a single enclosure
- Network of pipes, valves and electrical panels
- Centralised management of signals and alarms
Documentation delivered
A complete technical dossier, reviewed and approved under the project’s document control system:
- Cabinet dimensional drawings
- Electrical wiring diagrams
- P&IDs and flow diagrams
- Installation, operation and maintenance manual
- Handling procedure for shelters and cabinets
- Technical catalogues and user manuals
Packing and shipping
Packed in wooden crates and loaded by crane for international transport to Jubail, in line with the project’s handling standards.
