At MIESA we are making progress in sustainability and respect for the environment

We reaffirm our environmental commitment through concrete actions such as the implementation of a photovoltaic system in our facilities and the acquisition of a cardboard and plastic compactor.

We understand that every small action adds up and, therefore, we strive to align our practices with the principles of the circular economy and energy efficiency.

For Miesa, the ecological transition is not an abstract concept, but a set of concrete and measurable decisions and practices that we implement on a daily basis in our operations and facilities. Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint and promote a responsible use of resources.

Measures aimed at more sustainable more sustainable management and efficient facilities

Among the initiatives implemented to achieve this objective, the installation of a photovoltaic system composed of 80 400W/unit panels, with a total power of 32Kw, stands out. These panels are connected to a 30 kW inverter that supplies power to our facilities. Thanks to this installation, we have achieved savings of between 30% and 35% in annual electricity consumption, thus reducing our dependence on conventional energy sources.

We have also acquired a cardboard and plastic compactor that allows us to significantly reduce the volume of these materials. The compactor converts cardboard and plastic into compressed bales, so that they take up less space and require fewer trips to the recycling plant. With this action, we have reduced emissions from travel and associated costs.
