We reaffirm our environmental commitment through concrete actions such as installing a photovoltaic system at our facilities and acquiring a cardboard and plastic compactor
We understand that every small action counts, so we strive to align our practices with the principles of the circular economy and energy efficiency.
For Miesa, the ecological transition is not an abstract concept but a set of concrete, measurable decisions and practices that we implement every day in our operations and facilities. Our aim is to reduce our carbon footprint and promote the responsible use of resources.
Measures for more sustainable management and efficient facilities
Among the initiatives implemented to achieve this goal is, on the one hand, the installation of a photovoltaic system made up of 80 panels of 400 W each, with a total output of 32 kW. The panels are connected to a 30 kW inverter that supplies power to our facilities. Thanks to this installation we have achieved savings of between 30% and 35% in annual electricity consumption, reducing our dependence on conventional energy sources.
On the other hand, we have acquired a cardboard and plastic compactor that allows us to significantly reduce the volume of these materials. The compactor turns cardboard and plastic into compressed bales, so they take up less space and need fewer trips to the recycling plant. With this measure we have reduced the emissions from transport and the associated costs.

A long-term commitment
At Miesa we are moving towards a more sustainable, environmentally friendly business model. We know that the road to a green economy requires innovation and responsibility, and we will keep implementing measures that strengthen our commitment to the planet 🌏.
