From basic engineering to commissioning, we have designed, developed and integrated the remote control system of the Chanis Monitoring Centre, which supervises from a single workstation the 29 pumping stations of the Panama City network —from Cinta Costera and Casco Antiguo to Tocumen and Pacora— together with collectors, wells and treatment plants.
Our solution
- Centralised control centre with an overall network map and views by pumping station, collector, well and treatment plant
- Status, alarms and measurements of each station in real time
- Autonomous remote stations with a scalable, high-availability architecture
- Telecontrol using the Siemens SINAUT protocol between the remote stations and the control centre
- Low-latency communications adapted to each site, with coverage analysis and field validation
- Remote service: secure remote access for diagnostics, programming and support
Scope
- Basic engineering of the remote control system
- Complete design of the architecture and specifications of the remote control system
- Coverage analysis and communications design
- Programming and integration
- Commissioning and field testing
